HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Assembling the Swing Motor
ME12002 General Information 1. Check each part for damage caused by either use or disassembly. 2. If parts are scratched, remove scratches by rubbing with sandpaper of “fine” coarseness. 3. Clean each part with fresh cleaning oil and dry with an airjet. 4. Replace all seals. 5. Position piston (18), control disk (9), and sliding disk (20) onto a level work area. 6. Rub the sliding face of piston (18), control disk (9), and sliding disk (20) with sandpaper #2000 grit. See Figure 3-284. 7. When assembling, lubricate the sliding parts with specified clean hydraulic oil. 8. When assembling piston (18) into piston hole of cylinder drum (16), make sure to install each piston into the same hole it occupied before disassembly.
