Refer to Figure 3-38 for component identification for all “Disassembling the Hydraulic Pump” steps.

RemovingallPlugs,Regulator,andGear Pump

4.Remove the hexagon socket headed bolts from both the front and rear pumps.

5.Remove the regulator from the front pump. See Figure 3-39.

6.Remove the regulator from the rear pump. See Figure 3-39.

7.Loosen hexagon socket head bolts (401) that tighten the swash plate support (251), pump casing and valve block (312) from both the front and rear pumps. See Figure 3-38.

8.If installed, remove the gear pump before working on the pump unit.

1.Remove dust, rust and other contaminants from the pump surfaces with cleaning oil.

2.Remove drain port plug and drain hydraulic oil from the pump casing.

3.Remove all plugs from both the front and rear pumps.
