Reduce the displacement piston (643) maximum stroke “clockwise” (to the right) by applying control pressure (PM1) to the piston sleeve arrangement, shown to the left of displacement piston (643). See Figure 3-37.
Applying control pressure (PM1) reduces the pump’s maximum displacement because of the negative control mechanism feedback lever arrangement. See Figure 3-37. Adjust the external nut to change the maximum displacement. See Figure 3-37.
To adjust the maximum displacement: PM1 pressure measurement > negative control pressure measurement. See Figure 3-37.
Check that: PM1 > 580 psi (40 bar). See Figure 337.
