Inspecting the Control Valve
4. Check if any springs are broken, deformed, and/or worn.
Inspecting the Control Valve and Relief Valve
5. Replace all broken and/or defective springs.
1. Clean all disassembled parts with clean mineral oil.
6. Check if any main valve washer and seat section openings are clogged with foreign materials.
2. Dry all disassembled parts with compressed air.
7. Replace all O-rings with new O-rings.
3. Place all disassembled parts onto a clean surface for inspection.
8. When any broken and/or defective part is found, replace the entire relief valve assembly with a completely new relief valve assembly.
4. Check surfaces of all parts for jagged edges, scratches, notches and other defects.

5. Check that seal groove faces of casing and block are smooth and free of dust, dents, rust etc.

3. Using a 10 mm hexagon wrench for plugs, tighten each plug to tightening torque 94.0 ~ 108.4 lb.-ft. (127.4 ~ 147.0 Nm).
8. Check that all sliding and fitting parts can be moved manually.
4. Using a 41 mm spanner wrench for plug, tighten the plug to tightening torque 94.0 ~ 108.4 lb.-ft. (127.4 ~ 147.0 Nm).
9. Check that all grooves and paths are free from foreign materials. 10. Check if any springs are broken, deformed, and/or worn. 11. Replace all broken and/or defective springs. 12. If a relief valve is not functioning properly, repair it by following the disassembling and assembling instructions. 13. Replace all seals and O-rings with new ones. Inspecting the Relief Valve 1. Check that all seat faces on the ends of all valve washers and seats are free from defects and show uniform and consistent contact faces. 2. Confirm manually that the main valve washer and seat can slide lightly and smoothly. 3.
