Application Specific Accessories
Sometimes an application, specimen or material requires a special gripping method. General purpose grips may not be adequate and can result in problems such as jaw breaks or premature failure of the specimen. The grips and fixtures in the following section have been specially engineered to provide solutions to the unique problems presented by some testing applications. Instron is experienced in producing engineered solutions for particularly difficult applications. Some examples of engineered solutions are shown in Section 3. Our worldwide staff of technical personnel is available to discuss your application in greater detail to help you determine the solution that’s right to help determine the right solution for your lab.
