AUTOMATED XY STAGE

Instron’s Automated AT2 XY stage is designed for automated compression, tension, and flexure testing of devices or components with multiple and repetitive test points or locations. These systems are ideally suited for testing medical devices, syringes, small electronics, keypads, and pharmaceutical pills. These semi-automated systems allow users to increase throughput, make better use of skilled labor, increase repeatability, and improve safety and ergonomics.

Simple axial-torsion testing is often required for the complete evaluation of many pharmaceutical and surgical products, electronic components, consumer products, and packaging. The Instron® Torsion Add-On 3.0 for electromechanical universal testing systems is designed for simple, simultaneous axial and torsional testing of devices and/or components.
