FATIGUE-RATED HYDRAULIC AND MECHANICAL WEDGE GRIP JAW FACES

2703 and 2704 Series grip faces are designed to provide the best gripping for Instron® hydraulic and mechanical wedge grips. Flat and vee-faces accommodate a wide range of specimen sizes in both flats and rounds. The faces are available in serrated steel for flats and rounds, and also in carbide-coated for flats.

Principle of Operation

Grip faces feature serrated surfaces for optimum gripping. The serrations are designed to minimize damage to the specimen surface. Carbide-coated faces are also available for challenging materials.
