3400 SERIES DIGITAL CONTROLLER STRAIN CONDITIONERS

Today’s testing laboratories and manufacturers have a wide variety of material and component testing needs ranging from simple standardization testing to advanced research. To meet these varying requirements, Instron has different configurations of instruments to ensure the right solution to the testing application. Where an extensometer is required, Instron 3400 Series systems can be fitted with up to two optional strain channels.

Principle of Operation

Some applications may require direct strain measurement from the specimen. This optional sensor conditioning card is directly compatible with Instron strain gauge extensometers and LVDTs. Devices with a ±10 VDC signal output may also be used.
