SOFTWARE FOR MATERIALS TESTING
The advantages of computerizing materials testing systems has long been recognized. Faster, more reliable results, more flexible control, easier and safer operation, easier transmission of data… the list goes on.
Instron® has been at the forefront of materials testing software development for many years. Our modern software platforms are the result of a fusion between our materials testing knowledge and our design expertise.
In most cases you can add software to your existing machine either directly or in combination with a controller upgrade. Existing users of Instron software can enhance their systems over time with the revisions and enhancements included in our software upgrades that result from our continuous development philosophy.
Bluehill Universal was built from the ground-up for touch interaction. The new portrait layout, with its meticulously crafted visual design, gives the most comprehensive view of the test workspace on the Operator Dashboard, a stunning large-format touch monitor with an integrated controller.

Bluehill Universal’s large touchpoints and intuitive gestures make the user experience simpler and smarter. Easy-tounderstand icons and workflows make it easy to train new or experienced users, simplifying operator training, and allowing you to start testing even faster.

Bluehill Universal is available for the following Instron testing systems:
• 6800, 5900, and 3400 Series systems, as well as existing 5900, 3300, 5500, 59R, and ISO2 static testing systems.
• ElectroPuls™ and 8800 dynamic systems when running static tests.
