PIP MARKER FOR 4400, 5500/5500A, 5800 AND 5900 SERIES

A manual switch with cable and connecting plug that is compatible with Instron® testing systems featuring a PIP marker facility.

Principle of Operation

Manually depressing the switch allows the capture of specimen data at the moment the switch closes. Systems equipped with Bluehill® or Merlin™ software have access to these data points via the calculations and results table. Older systems with chart recorders produce a momentary peak on the chart to indicate when the switch closed.
