LOAD CELLS
Load cells convert the force experienced by the specimen into an electrical signal that is used by the electronic controller to precisely monitor, report or control the force.
Forces change dynamically during materials testing and are often not applied in a truly axial fashion. In order to minimize errors in force measurement, Instron supplies a range of different load cells designed specifically for use with materials testing systems. In order to minimize the force measurement errors that can result from these effects, Instron® supplies a range of different load cells, each designed specifically for materials testing.
For example, the patented Dynacell™ range of fatigue-rated load cells features a built-in accelerometer that corrects for the inertial loading error due to grip mass in fatigue tests.
Whatever your test application, Instron load cells will provide accuracy and longevity through advanced applications technology and quality manufacturing.
