DIGITAL CONTROLLER ACCESSORIES

Electronic or electrical devices that can be added to an existing controller include transducer conditioner channels for use with extensometry, and analog & digital inputs/outputs. A system’s controller determines the various features and capabilities that are available for it.

In most cases the model number of the load frame defines the type of control electronics incorporated into the testing system. For example, model 68TM uses a 6800 Series controller.

If your system does not have any of the listed types of controller, please contact your local Instron® office to discuss your requirements. Refer to Advice for Users of Older Systems in Section 6.
