Environmental Where tests at body temperatures are required, our BioBox environmental chamber envelops the entire testing machine to provide a constant, stable temperature for conducting tests. Our liquid bath options allow tests at controlled temperatures in a variety of aqueous solutions including saline. A range of submersible grips and fixtures are available for use with these baths. 4.7
Application Overviews
The BioTray provides a waterproof cover for selected models, giving protection for the machine and ensuring an easyto-clean, hygienic surface when testing biological specimens. For tests at higher and lower temperatures, our range of isothermal environmental chambers can be used.
Software Static tests can be performed using Bluehill® Universal Software that can be configured to test a huge range of biomedical and pharmaceutical specimens. Bluehill features compliance correction, which can be used to more accurately determine specimen strain where an extensometer cannot be used. Bluehill® Universal is available with a number of pre-configured biomedical test methods, ASTM F88, ASTM F2256, ASTM F2458, ASTM F2516, ASTM F2606, DIN EN 455-2, ISO 7886-1 Annex G. Bluehill Universal’s Traceability Module enables users to meet the audit requirements associated with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 17025, NADCAP, A2LA, and other accrediting bodies. WaveMatrix™ software for dynamic, hydraulic, and ElectroPuls™ machines ensures accurate and highly-controlled fatigue and endurance tests to be performed on a wide variety of materials and devices including stents, implants, and prosthetics.
