CHARPY TESTING - METALS FOR CEAST 9050 SERIES PENDULUM IMPACT SYSTEMS Accessories are available for metals Charpy testing. Tests can be conducted with accessories designed according to ASTM E23, and DIN 50115 with hammer energies up to 50 J. The 9050 is an ideal system for instructional or comparative testing (i.e. in academic settings or to meet internal standards). The 9050 is not suitable for customers running ASTM E23 for production or quality purposes. Per the standard, those customers are required to perform an indirect verification using NIST specimens. NIST performs these verification tests on floor model pendulum systems. Floor models impact the specimen at a higher velocity due to their longer hammer arm and generate lower absorbed energy numbers. CHARPY VICE METALS Catalog Number
