11 Operation – ISOBUS Terminal 11.5 Manual operation of hydraulic system
11.5 Manual operation of hydraulic system Danger! Danger of crushing, and from rotating machine components. The manual (emergency) operation must be carried out with the tractor's engine running. For these operations, at least one assistant person is required, to sit on the tractor and switch off the hydraulics and the engine immediately, if necessary. There is a risk of injury! For manual operation of the hydraulic system: – Disengage the PTO shaft. – Remove the universal drive shaft from the tractor's PTO. – Maintain a safe distance from moving parts (rotors, outriggers, ...). – Switch off the hydraulic system immediately in case of an emergency. – Switch off the machine at once, if necessary. – Switch off the engine. – Remove the ignition key. If the electrical controls are defective, the machine's hydraulic functions can be operated manually by means of the corresponding valves. Proceed as follows:
• Connect the hydraulic hoses to the tractor – see Connecting the hydraulics, page 34.
• Switch hydraulic system to pressure. • Press a small-diameter object (screwdriver or similar) into the opening (arrow) (Fig. 48) of the corresponding valve. Note! Depending on the required function, all the valves can be operated independently of each other.

For adjusting the raking height, a second person is necessary, as the blocking valve (15) must be operated in addition to valve (1 or 12).
