6 8.1.3 Prop stand

Danger!

Any work under the chocked up swather may only be carried out if the machine has been properly secured –risk of injury. – Lower the prop stand fully to the ground, and secure it. – Do not place an extra load on the prop stand by means of the tractor's hydraulics.

Raise the prop stand when the machine has been hitched. Proceed as follows to raise the prop stand: – Raise the machine slightly with the three-point hitch, to take the load off the prop stand. – Pull out pin(1), and push prop stand(2) upwards as far as it will go. – Secure the prop stand(2) by reinserting pin(1). Proceed as follows to lower the prop stand: – Raise the machine slightly with the three-point hitch. – Pull out pin(1), and lower prop stand(2) fully to the ground. – Secure the prop stand(2) by pushing pin(1) into the closest hole.
