Danger!

When raising/lowering the rotors, make sure that nobody is in the pivoting area. There is a risk of injury. – Direct all persons out of the danger area. – Switch off the machine at once, if necessary. Never work on the machine while the tractor's engine is running. – Switch off the engine. – Remove the ignition key. If the control unit is in manual control mode, all safety devices are disabled. – The “STOP” key has no function! – If necessary, simply release the function key.

The swather can also be operated manually via the control terminal. The valves are controlled individually in manual mode. This function can also be used for repair and service work. Proceed as follows to select the manual control mode:

• Press these two keys simultaneously for about 7secs. – The green indicator LED(1) blinks slowly during switchover from the normal operating mode to the manual mode. – When the manual mode is active, the blinking frequency of the indicator LED(1) changes from slow to fast. If the control unit is switched off, it returns to the normal operating mode when it is switched on again. If required, the manual mode must be selected again. (Fig.17)

All functions are active only as long as the corresponding key is pressed.

The following functions can now be controlled manually: – Lifting/lowering running gear – Raising/lowering the rotors – Extend/retract front outriggers – increase/reduce working width • Hold the corresponding key down until the required position is reached.
