• If necessary, unlatch the lower contour wheels of the front pair of rotors, and swing downwards as follows: –Release the lever(2), and –swing the lower wheels(1) downwards. (Fig.23)

• Open the shut-off valvesfor the rear rotors –see Opening the shut-off valve for the rear rotors (only applies up to Serial No. 60501857), page35.

Removing the tine guards

• Before starting to work: –Remove the tine guards(3) from the tines, and –stow them in the bracket(4). (Fig.24,25)

• Raise the machine with the three-point hydraulics (bottom links) as high as it will go. • Before switching on the control unit, the hydraulic system must be pressurized.

Attention!

In transport position, the PTO shaft must not be engaged, otherwise the PTO drive and the universal drive shafts may be damaged. – Do not engage the PTO shaft before the machine has reached at least the headland position.
