Attention!
Dirty hydraulic couplings can lead to contamination of the hydraulic system. – Clean the hydraulic couplings and the hydraulic hoses every time before hitching. – Prevent the control cable from scuffing or being squashed.
Caution!
Before connecting the hydraulic hoses, make sure that the swather's hydraulic system has been adapted to that of the tractor. – See Adapting the hydraulics, page26. – Do not exceed the max. permitted oil quantity –see Specifications, page20. – The machine's pressure relief valve must be set to a higher value (+20bar) than the tractor's relief valve. The return line (without marking) must never be put under pressure, as this could damage the swather's hydraulic system. – Connect the return line (without marking) only to the “pressure-free return” coupling.
Proceed as follows to connect the hydraulics: • Connect both hydraulic hoses(1) to a dual-acting control valve (Fig.7)
or • to a single-acting control valve with “pressure-free return”(2) (Fig.8). • Protect the hoses from scuffing or being squashed. • Adjust the tractor's hydraulic system for the max. permissible oil flow –see Specifications, page20.
See the tractor's operating manual, e.g. under
“Continuous operation of hydraulic motors”. (Fig.7,8)
