9.5 Before lowering into the working position • If necessary, unlatch the lower contour wheels of the front pair of rotors, and swing downwards as follows: – Release the lever (2), and – swing the lower wheels (1) downwards. (Fig. 23) 2 1 23
• Open the shut-off valves for the rear rotors – see Opening the shut-off valve for the rear rotors (only applies up to Serial No. 60501857), page 35. Removing the tine guards
• Before starting to work: – Remove the tine guards (3) from the tines, and – stow them in the bracket (4). (Fig. 24, 25)

• Raise the machine with the three-point hydraulics (bottom links) as high as it will go.
• Before switching on the control unit, the hydraulic system must be pressurized.
