13.1 Using the swather Swather with ISOBUS Terminal
Danger! When raising/lowering the rotors, make sure that nobody is in the pivoting area. There is a risk of injury. – Direct all persons out of the danger area. – Switch off the machine at once, if necessary. – If necessary, interrupt the control unit with the “STOP” key. 1 Swather with control terminal
Never work on the machine while the tractor's engine is running. – Switch off the engine. – Remove the ignition key. (Fig. 1, 2)

• Before lowering to the working position: Before lowering into the working position, page 57. 73687

• Lower the rotors into the working position – see Working position with ISOBUS Terminal, page 59 and/or Working position with operating terminal, page 62.
• Before starting field work: Before starting field operation, page 64. Caution! Do not engage the PTO shaft before the machine has reached at least the headland position.
• Engage the PTO with engine at idling speed. • Subsequently increase the PTO speed. Observe the max. permissible PTO speed – see Specifications, page 20.
• The ground speed depends on the respective operating conditions (terrain and surface conditions, nature of the crop, etc.).
