Work hydraulics do not work or work only at a low performance level.
Low hydraulic fluid level.
Add hydraulic fluid. See “Checking Hydraulic Oil Level” on page 29.
Hydraulic fluid is not warm.
Allow longer warm-up
Hydraulic cylinder damaged.
Repair/replace cylinder. See “Hydraulic Cylinder Disassembly/Assembly” on page 141.
Control valves damaged.
Repair/replace control valve. See “2-Spool Control Valve Removal” on page 126 or “3Spool Control Valve Removal” on page 128. Also refer to the parts manual for control valve parts information.
Engine speed is too low.
Adjust engine speed.
Dirty/restricted air filter(s).
Replace air filter(s). See “Air Cleaner” on page 22.
Incorrect fuel grade.
Change the fuel; see “Fluid Capacities / Lubricants” on page 11 for proper fuel grade.
Oil leaking past tilt cylinder seals.
See “Work Cylinder Leakage Test” on page 124. Repair/ replace cylinder if required. Also see “Hydraulic Cylinder Disassembly/Assembly” on page 141.
Leaking hydraulic hoses, tubes or fittings between control valve and cylinders.
Repair/replace as required.
Attachment tilts down with tilt control in neutral.
