Note! The oil temperature must not exceed 50 °C when checking the hydraulic block. (Fig. 18) 18
Switch on the control terminal. Open the tailgate completely and hold it open for 5 seconds. Measure the length of piston rod (L) on the lower tensioning arm: measured length between cylinder housing and colour mark. Switch the tractor mounted control valve for 30 seconds to position "Open tailgate".

Measure the length of piston rod (L) on the lower tensioning arm again: – If the length of the piston rod has increased by max. 15 mm, there is no leak. 19
– If the length of the piston rod has increased by more than 15 mm, the block must be replaced, part-no. 084 270.0. (See spare parts list) (Fig. 19)
