54 9. ALIGNING UPPER AND LOWER ARMS

9.1 Test

Make sure that upper arm and outer belt do not touch each other.

9.2 Centering the upper arm

Loosen 4 fastening screws M16 on the lower arm. (Fig.52)

Adjust the upper arm by using a hammer: –If the belts contact on the left hand side, knock on the upper arm on the right hand side. –If the belts contact on the right hand side, knock on the upper arm on the left hand side. (Fig.53)

Tighten 4 bolts M16 and check the position of the adjustable left and right hand stops during this procedure: –There must be a minimal clearance between the adjustable stops (Q) and arm (G): arm and stop must not touch. (Fig.54)
