FUEL SHUT-OFF SOLENOID TEST STEP 20

Install the key switch (1) and the starter button (2). G0705134
Install the positive (+) test lead to the fuel shut-off solenoid. Turn the key switch to the ON position. The multimeter should read 12 to 13 volts.
STEP 19
If there is no voltage, proceed to the next step. If there is 12 to 13 volts, but the engine will not start, replace the fuel shut-off solenoid valve.

Install the instrument panel using the four screws.

Check the fuel shut-off solenoid fuse (#2) (1) and test power to the fuse (Step 4) and ignition relay (2) (Steps 5 and 6). If th e fu el sh ut-o ff fuse an d ign ition re lay are operating properly, repair or replace the red wire between the fuse and the fuel shut-off solenoid.
