STEP 4

Remove the top hood. Complete Steps 25 through 32 of Section 800 for the correct procedures.

Remove the mid section hood. Complete Steps 40 through 46 of Section 800 for the correct procedures.

STEP

Loosen the hose clamp (1) and remove the 90° rubber elbow (2) from the turbo inlet. Install a cap on the turbo inlet.

Open the radiator drain valve at the bottom of the radiator. Drain the coolant into an approved container.

Step 8

Open the engine block drain valve and drain the coolant into an approved container.

NOTE: Attaching a hose to the drain valves will help direct the coolant to the container.

After all the coolant is removed, close both drain valves. Recycle or dispose of coolant in an environmentally safe manner.
