STEP 52
Replace the boom extend relief valve.
STEP 53
Repeat Step 51.
If the pressure is less than 3000 psi (207 bar), repair or replace the extend/retract control valve.
STEP 54
Shut off the engine. Remove the pressure gauge (1) from the bulkhead fitting (2) and install the cylinder extend hose (3) on the fitting.

Install a 5000 psi (345 bar) pressure gauge and hose on the “MP” test port of the flow divider.


STEP 56
Start the engine and run at 1000 RPM. Extend the boom approximately 6 feet (2 meters). Watch the pressure gauge as the boom is slowly retracted, the gauge should read 1500 psi (103 bar).
If the pressure is less than 1500 psi (103 bar), proceed to the next step.
If the pressure is more than 1500 psi (103 bar), proceed to Step 60.
