Double Chain Roller Bearing Installation

STEP 22

Remove the four nuts that secure the clevis of the double chain assembly to the outer boom section. Hang both chains over the front of the inner boom section.

STEP 23

Loosen and remove the bolt (1) and nut (2) from the front sheave pin.

STEP 24

Remove the grease fitting from the sheave pin. Remove the sheave pin.

STEP 25

Remove the roller bearings.

Step 26

The two roller bearings and sheave should be assembled before installing them. Press the roller bearing (1) into the sheave (2). Apply grease to the inside of the roller bearing, then insert the inner ring (3) into the roller bearing.
