Move the park brake switch to the OFF position. The pressure gauge should read 400-425 psi (27-29 bar) when the park brake is released.

If the pressure is less than 400-425 psi (27-29 bar), but was at 400-425 psi (27-29 bar) when the park brake switch was ON, repair or replace the park brake in the front axle.

If the pressure is 400-425 psi (27-29 bar), but the park brake will not release, repair or replace the park brake solenoid valve and repeat Steps 98 and 100 before replacing or repairing the park brake in the front axle.

Step 101

Remove the hose (1) from port IN (2) on the flow divider. Install a 1000 psi (69 bar) pressure gauge between the hose and IN port.

Step 103

Start the engine and run at 1000 RPM. The pressure gauge should read 400-425 psi (27-29 bar).

If the pressure is 400-425 psi (27-29 bar) replace the flow divider.

If the pressure is less than 400-425 psi (27-29 bar), proceed to the next step.
