☞ Wear protective gloves ☞ Use an oil drain coupling with a sufficiently long hose ☞ Proceed as follows: Fig. 65 : Hydraulic oil tank

Park the machine on level ground Lower the telescopic boom completely. To do this: push the lever forward Dump in the bucket completely. To do this: push the lever to the left Stop the engine and prevent the machine from rolling away Open the engine cover Remove cap B from the hydraulic oil tank Place a suitable container under the hydraulic oil tank (minimum capacity 55 l) Remove cap C of the oil drain valve Ensure that the end of the hose of the oil drain coupling is in the container Mount oil drain coupling D onto the oil drain valve ➥ Oil drain valve E opens and the oil runs into the container Rinse the hydraulic oil tank with a little hydraulic oil Remove oil drain coupling D from oil drain valve E Mount cap C of the oil drain valve Replace the hydraulic oil return filter – see Changing the filter insert on page 3-30 Check the filling screen for damage

Caution! Contaminated hydraulic oil carries a danger of severe damage to the hydraulic system! ☞ Always fill in hydraulic oil using the filling screen!

Fill in new hydraulic oil up to the middle of oil level sight glass A Mount cap B on the hydraulic oil tank Start the engine and at low engine speed, fully extend and retract the lift and tilt rams Turn the steering wheel to the left and right several times, from lock to lock Retract all the hydraulic rams again Stop the engine Check the hydraulic oil level again and fill up if necessary
