3.13Filling up engine oil

OIL B Caution!

Too much or incorrect engine oil can result in engine damage! ☞ Do not add engine oil above the MAX mark of the oil dipstick ☞ Use only the specified engine oil

Environment!

Use a suitable container to collect the engine oil as it drains and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner!

☞ Fill up the engine oil as follows: •Clean the area around oil filler cap B with a lint-free cloth •Open filler cap B •Pull out the oil dipstick and wipe it with a lint-free cloth •Fill in engine oil •Wait a moment until all the oil has run into the oil sump •Check the oil level A •Fill up if necessary and check the oil level again •Close filler cap B •Completely remove all oil spills from the diesel engine
