Uncoupling the trailer

Fig. 23: Trailer coupling (option) ☞ Uncoupling the trailer from the trailer coupling •Park the machine and the trailer on level ground •Stop the engine •Apply the parking brake •Switch off ignition and remove the ignition key •Secure the trailer with wheel chocks •Apply the trailer parking brake •Disconnect the electric and hydraulic connections from the tractor vehicle to the trailer •Close the quick couplers on the machine and the trailer with the protective caps provided •Uncouple the trailer. To do this: carefully pull the pommel of lever A of the trailer coupling upward until the lever locks into place

Notice!

In order to avoid dirt accumulation in the trailer coupling eyelets, close them again after having uncoupled the trailer! • Press the pommel of lever A of the trailer coupling downward until the lever locks into place
