Fitting attachments from other manufacturers

The hydraulic hoses are fitted and connected on the quickhitch in the same way as the standard bucket or pallet forks. (See the Operator’s Manual.)

Important! In order to ensure machine stability, the dimensions (length/width), the material density and the loads of attachments from other manufacturers must correspond to the authorised attachments! ☞ –see Authorised attachments on page1-5!

Notice!

Stability must be calculated by authorised staff or an authorised workshop! • Pallet forks = safety factor = S 1.25/S 1.67

Max. moment = (FL x XL) + 228.0 daN x (450 mm + X)

FL, XL, X indicated in load diagram (See load diagram affixed on side window in cab) • Buckets = safety factor = S 2.0 • Depending on the legal regulations fo your country, a Separate Certification for Vehicles issued by the specific authorities may be necessary if the dimensions (length/width), material density and loads of the attachments are not in compliance with the requirements • Also refer to “Example: inspection plan for attachments from other manufacturers” on page1-34 to calculate stability
