1.19Autohitch trailer coupling (option)
The Autohitch trailer coupling allows you to hitch a trailer onto the telehandler while remaining seated. Autohitch trailer couplings with EC acceptance are certified for use on public roads in Germany (StVZO German road traffic regulations). Please refer to the General Certification for Vehicles or to the data confirmation (Germany) for information on the attachments and the specific requirements. ➥ Bear in mind the admissible trailer weight –seechapter 2 “Trailer couplings: trailer weight/drawbar load” on page2-12
Danger!
If the trailer is not coupled correctly, there is an extreme danger of accidents! ☞ Check the proper function of the safety lock once a day ☞ Do not exceed the load values for the Autohitch trailer coupling (see type label) ☞ Adjust the rearview mirror correctly to ensure visibility to the rear ☞ Remove dirt from the towing pin ☞ After you have coupled the trailer onto the telehandler, check whether the towing gear is safely locked
Notice!
Open and close the trailer coupling when the diesel engine is running at low speed (up to about a max. 1500 rpm)! Note! Too much oil flows at higher engine speed causing the pressure relief valve to respond, and the locking/unlocking functions to be performed more slowly, and not faster. This in turn results in a higher energy consumption (fuel)!
