C Caution!

Bear in mind the following to avoid premature diesel engine wear! ☞ Neither brush nor clean the filter cartridge with compressed air ☞ Replace the filter cartridge when the indicator light comes on ☞ Never reuse a damaged filter cartridge ☞ Ensure cleanliness when replacing the filter cartridge!

☞ Change the filter cartridge as follows: •Stop the diesel engine •Apply the parking brake •Switch off ignition and remove the ignition key •Open the engine cover •Fold both locks G on lower housing section H of the air filter to the outside •Remove lower housing section H •Carefully remove filter cartridge D with slightly turning movements •In addition, every 3rd time the filter is replaced, carefully remove the safety cartridge

F with slightly turning movements • Ensure that all contamination (dust) inside the upper and lower housing sections has been removed •Insert a new filter cartridge D and safety cartridge F in the upper housing section •Position lower housing section H (ensure that it is properly seated) •Closer the lower housing section with both locks G

Caution!

In order to avoid engine damage, do not operate the diesel engine without a filter insert!

After replacing the filter, reset the red mark C in the inspection window of indicator B •Press reset button A
