Learn Wire Guidance Offsets NOTE: Make sure the line driver is setup and adjusted correctly. 1. Verify that the lift truck has learned the wire guide frequency. See “Learn Guide Wire Frequency” on page 3-9. NOTE: The horn chirps at approximately 10 chirps per second when the lift truck is over the guide wire and has previously learned the present guide wire frequency. 2. In manual steer mode, position the lift truck to center the tractor end and the load end sensors over the guide wire (± 0.75 in.[19 mm]). Make sure the drive unit is centered. 3. Without moving the lift truck, turn the key switch OFF. Set the auto/manual switch to Manual. 4. Enter horn code 3,4: a. Hold down the horn button and turn the key switch ON. Do not release the horn yet. b. Wait for the steering indicator LEDs to stop flashing, and release the horn button. c. Press and release the horn button 3 times. Each time you press the button, an additional Battery Indicator LED lights. d. Wait for the Battery Indicator LEDs to turn OFF.

8. Drive tractor-first for approximately 20 feet (6.1 m) and coast to a stop. NOTE: Do not apply the brake, or drive forks-first at any time during this procedure. • Travel speed is limited to 2 mph (3.2 km/h). 9. Set the auto/manual switch to Manual. The lift truck has now learned the offsets and stored them in memory. NOTE: If you need to re-learn the wire guidance offsets, you do not need to re-learn the guide wire frequency, unless the frequency has changed.
