Control Handle Fault Codes
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Fault codes related to the control handle have been reported even when the handle is adjusted correctly.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
New Carriage Card P/N 1047918/002 and Steer/Tractor Manager S/W Version 2.5 are now available to help reduce the occurrence of Codes 18, 21, 23, and 26. When installing a new Carriage Card, the Steer/Tractor Manager S/W must be properly matched. Fault Codes 18 or 23 are displayed if you install a new card with the old software. The new software is backward compatible with older Carriage Cards. However, Fault Code 69 will result if the hardware jumper ID in the board changes state after the power on SelfTest. Replace the Carriage Card if this code occurs. NOTE: The new card was cut into production on truck serial number 520-14-03473
