Rugby League – Senior Mounties In 2019 we fielded teams in the Canterbury Cup, Ron Massey Cup and Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership.
Our Canterbury Cup team finished the regular season in 6th just one win from a vital top four position. They were unfortunately beaten by Grand Finalist Newtown in a tough game in week 1 of the finals. We had 6 games live on either Fox or Channel Nine giving the club excellent exposure. Our Ron Massey Cup finished in 3rd position and reached the preliminary final getting beat by Minor Premiers Wentworthville in the dying minutes. It capped another strong season at this level for the club.
Our Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership finished with the Minor Premiership before going down in the Grand Final to CRL Newcastle. It was a great season by the girls, and they proved yet again to be a force in this competition. Many thanks to all players and staff for their continued support and commitment to this great club.
