Athletics Mounties

Mounties Athletics had some outstanding representative results this year.

Ssome results include:

● Masters World Championships, Malaga – Robyn Suttor, 7th in 55+ women’s 300m hurdles and Pole Vault, and Darren

Hughes 3rd place in 55+ men’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays ● Illawarra Track Classic – Darren Hughes 1st 50+ 60m ● NSW Junior Championships – Michael King 1st boys U15 1500m and 800m

● Masters Throws pentathlon – 2nd Alison White ● Australian Masters Championships: ● Robyn Suttor 1st women's 60-64 300m Hurdles, 80m

Hurdles, 60m, 100m, 200m and 4x400m relay; 3rd in the

W240+ 4x200m relay ● Darren Hughes 1st 55-59 men's 60m, 400m and M240+ 4x100m relay, and 2nd in 100m, 200m and 4x400m relay ● Robyn Suttor competed in the World Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland. She won the silver medal in the 60-64 women's 60m hurdles and made several other individual and relay finals. She also won Gold at the Oceania Masters held in Mackay, in the 60+ women’s 60m, 80m hurdles, and 50+ 100m.

Congratulations to our Liaison Officer Sameer Kunwar and his wife who welcomed their first child in March, a son named Samar.
