Hockey Mounties

What an amazing season it was for all the members of our hockey club! Mounties hockey had 13 teams entered the Metropolitan South West Hockey Association competition in both the junior and senior competitions.

These teams included an U7s and U9s team, entered into the Minkies competition, 2x U11, 2x U13, 2x U15, 1x U18 Boys and 1x U18 Girls teams entered into the junior competition and an A and C grade team entered into the ladies competition and 1x 3rd grade team entered into the men’s competition. All our teams enjoyed a phenomenal season and all but 2x senior teams made it into the final series. The U11 Gold team, U13 Gold team and the U18 boys were Minor Premiers in their competitions and Mounties Hockey is proud to announce that we had 5 teams who made it through to the Grand Final. U11 Gold, U13 Gold, U13 Black and U18 girls were all runners up in their competitions, in very close games, some going into extra time! Congratulations goes to the U18 Boys who came away winners and Grand Finalists for the season, managing to defend their title!

To cap off the successes of the season we had 10 players who represented NSW and ACT in National teams and so many more who represented MSW at state champs. Mounties hockey will congratulate all our players at the end of year presentation being held on the 16th November. The AGM will be held in December and all dates for preparing for the 2020 season will be organized. Big thanks to Mounties for your ongoing support!
