Kangaroo Valley was our trip this month. After morning tea, we had plenty of time to stroll around the town before heading to Robertson Bowling Club for a wonderful lunch. Heading home we stopped at the Robertson Pie Shop, where lots of different pies were bought.
March’19
Goulburn and its surrounds our trip for this month. The Lavender Farm was closed but we were able to browse the Lavender Shop before heading to Garroorgang Historic Home which is 162 years old. This home has had many lives from Inn, boy’s school finally to a family home for the Belcher/Hume families. A very interesting day. Also, this month, Senior Moments, a 90-minute tongue in cheek comedy regarding seniors. Very funny.

Saturday Night Fever stage show. Marcia Hines still has a great voice. Great show.

Gold Coast seven-day holiday. We went to Thursday Plantation at Ballina for lunch. The Outback Spectacular dinner show was another one of our outings. On our third day a scenic coach tour as we headed to Surface Paradise for the Canal Cruise. Next day heading to Maleny, Montville and Sunshine Hinterland. Mary Caincross Park is a Sanctuary of fifty-two hectares of original rainforest. On this trip we saw lots of wonderful places. The Science Museum at Wollongong also happened this month. A fun day where we got to be kids again pushing buttons, turning and pulling levers just to see what they would do.

Vaucluse House, one of Sydney’s 19th century mansions still surrounded by its original gardens. Bought by William Charles Wentworth. In 1915 became Australia’s first official house museum.

Bowral was our day trip. The day was wonderful for us to stroll around the town and wander through the park and take in the many colours of the tulips and the flowering trees. We stopped at Don Bradman’s museum had a look around before heading to our favorite spot for lunch at Robertson Bowling Club. Once again, stopping at the pie shop before heading home. Another great day.
