A passionate and energetic teacher, Ms Rolston’s dedication to her students has been unparalleled and we wish her all the best for the future. I add my personal thanks to Mr Martin Guest, our Assistant Head of Learning Area, who has been an absolute wonder to work with over the year. His enthusiasm, great ideas and support made working in my role a whole lot more fulfilling and enjoyable and I look forward to another productive and exciting year with him. I have been blessed to lead such an amazing and enthusiastic department. The focus, commitment and dedication my staff have for their subject and their students never ceases to amaze me on a daily basis. I thank and congratulate all the English staff for their tireless professionalism and fabulous work ethic that has made a significant contribution to the success our students have experienced this year. They were exposed to the craft of writing and were able to immerse themselves in a number of creative writing activities with valuable feedback coming from the invited authors themselves! A valuable initiative of the English Department, it offers the boys the opportunity to explore yet another facet of English language study here at Trinity College.
