JUNIOR SCHOOL CRICKET

The 2018 season was an amazing one for all the boys who worked hard to improve their skills and have fun.

All the teams trained in the nets on Mann Oval at 8.00am on Tuesday mornings. We had our games on the Thursday afternoons. Every week we were proud to represent Trinity College, whether we won or came second.

We all started the season very well. The ‘A’s, ‘B’s and ‘C’s all tried their best whether it was training or a fixture against one of the PSA schools. The ‘A’ team even managed to get a team hat-trick in our final game of the season. A big thank you goes to Mr Bernard Le Tessier, Mr John Lamborn (’69) and Mr Tony Maxfield (’79) for helping the boys develop their skills as cricketers of the future. Also, a big thanks to Mr Luke Thompson for organising the buses for the boys and a thank you to the groundsmen at Waterford for preparing the fields for our games. Another big thank you goes to all the boys for giving 100% in training and at their games this season.

We always tried to have fun, which is the most important part of playing cricket.
