Junior School Cricket

JUNIOR SCHOOL SOCCER

What a great season it has been for PSA soccer in the Junior School. Everybody tried really hard to give their 100% every match. Our A soccer team participated in to the 2018 SSWA 15th Champions Cup (Eastern Region) and the boys fought hard throughout the day and made it to the final. We drew 2-2 and made it to the state competition but were knocked out by Coogee Primary School in a 1-0 defeat – a very thrilling game. All the boys should be very proud of their efforts this season.

On behalf of all the boys this year playing soccer, I thank all the coaches of the teams: Mr Luke Thompson, Mr John Lamborn (’69), Miss Natalie Kenny and Ms Alana Brennan. A massive thank you goes to Mr Thompson for organising everyone’s PSA sports and coaching with a broken leg! Another big thank you goes to the ground staff at our Waterford Playing Fields, it was great to be able to play on such a cared for pitch every Thursday. I also thank all the boys: you really showed pride in our School and were very good sportsmen. Thank you to all my teammates for being so awesome: it was great to play with you guys every week.
