Year 7. I thank Mr Anthony Byrne for his leadership and support; Ms Su-fen Chung, Mr Rodney Rainer, Mr Michael Slack-Smith, Miss Adelaide Garland, Ms Nadia Tati, Mr Martin Guest, Mr Tim Carslaw and Mr Peter Harper for their hard work, dedication and expert care of the Year 7 boys throughout 2018. Their support and pastoral engagement with each student is developing in a positive and educational manner that ultimately creates a safe and engaging climate for the Class of 2023.

It has been an amazing year at Trinity College and one where the Year 7 cohort challenges themselves in all aspects of life – especially when it comes to the social events with Mercedes College. What they have learnt, and continue to learn, will help them achieve their future goals and will provide the staff who they encounter with a positive and reassuring attitude: something we all aspire to see in the boys as they head towards graduation.

This year has been the start of the amazing journey that awaits this fine developing group known as the Class of 2023 – a year that has ultimately focussed on encouraging each boy to be the best he can be.

I look forward to continuing the journey in 2019. The challenges, developments and experiences ahead are something each of us should be looking forward to taking on.

Regards and thanks to you all,

Mr David Allen Head of Year 7
