Year 7 The transition into Senior School can be a stressful and challenging time for families and students so to assist in this process, the Year 7s were given a handbook titled Codes to the Next Level. This was created to enhance their organisational skills and to encourage the boys to share their concerns with family, staff and peers.

In another effort to keep things straightforward, the cohort was given an objective from the outset to live out a Trademark of being ‘Independent, Organised and Supportive’. work and sacrifice. Thanks to all College staff for supporting the retreat. Special mention is made of Mr Michael Murphy who did a fantastic job coordinating the Senior Ministers and with the help of Adventure Out, Mr Brett Silver and Mr Peter Oliver created an excellent outdoor education and camp experience for all.
The Becoming Brothers retreat was held in Week 5 of Term 1. Students experienced the legendary retreat at Camp Kelly in Dwellingup, where they participated in activities aimed at building relationships and fostering a greater sense of belonging. It is fantastic to see so many students determined to support those in need and the boys should be very proud for raising more money than any other year group at the College’s Annual Unfair Day. The Christian Service aspect is paramount at the College and in addition to the India Fun Run, the year group’s focus for Semester 2 was making a positive difference to those experiencing hardship. In Term 2, the Year 7s coordinated Indoor Soccer for CanTeen which involved Years 7 and 8 boys involved in a physical activity. Over $1300 was raised and it was fantastic to have representatives from CanTeen attend an assembly to receive the cheque.
