Junior School Football

The 2016 football season has been very eventful and fun. It was a long ride, where all the boys put in hard work and showed lots of determination and persistence. This season would not be possible if it wasn't for our wonderful coaches: Mr Le Tessier, Mr Hayes and Mr Maxfield.

This year the ‘A’ footy team was able to play on Mann Oval in the Ian MacRae Cup against Aquinas College. All the senior boys came to watch and it felt like we were playing on the MCG in front of 100,000 people. Every PSA school put up a great effort and there was not a win by more than 20 points. In the first couple of rounds, the boys were not as selfless as they were in the second half of the season but much improvement was shown from all the boys, thanks to all of our wonderful coaches!

In conclusion, the 2016 season was one of the best footy seasons I’ve been involved with. Thanks to all of the teachers, staff and the other PSA schools.
