There was a great feeling within the 1st team that this could be a very good year!

We already had some outstanding performances from our newcomers to the first team which consisted of Chuo Yan (Marco) Ma (10.2) and Leon Formato (11.1). With wins against Guildford Grammar School and game-winning performances from our Captain Kai Hickey (12.3) and established 1st team players Jordan Monastra (12.4), Ethan Petta (12.4) and Trong Nguyen (12.8) we could only secure one more win from our remaining contests against Christ Church Grammar School. D’Souza (11.4), George Kavalam (11.1), Saad Jehangir (11.6), Ashton Godfrey (11.7), Patrick O'Donoghue (10.6), Milan Marocchi (10.6) and Cher Yan (Russell) Bong (10.6), who kept pressure throughout the season, with an eye on moving up the ladder.

I also thank the 3rd and 4th teams for their consistent play throughout the season.

A special thank you goes to our amazing coaches, Ailing Zhang, coaching our 1st and 2nd teams, Su-Fen Chung for coaching our 3rd and 4th teams. Also thank you to our very supportive parents who, once again, ensured every home game had a fantastic morning tea.

A big thank you to Captain Kai Hickey for his excellent leadership over the season and to Trong Nguyen, in his role as Vice-captain. Both Kai and Trong were great role models for the upcoming players in our 2nd team. Also thank you to Georges Yip (12.8) for giving his all in every game.
