Year 5 Green

It has been a creative, exciting and busy year in in 2016 for 5 Green! It has been rewarding watching the boys grow and develop. While there has been a lot of work, effort and focus, there has also been a lot of laughs and strong camaraderie amongst the class.

SOME OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR WERE …

...meeting West Coast Eagles legend, Dean Cox, was amazing - he even signed my cricket bat. Harrison Bridgeman ...winning a lot of first place ribbons at the swimming carnival which was awesome and it made me feel amazing! Liam Bush ...going on the Big Fox and hearing the other boys screaming as they flew over me! Joel Carcich ...the camp at Dwellingup. We went kayaking in the Murray River and fell in: it was freezing! Edward Davis ...kayaking on Year 5 camp with my friends, it was excellent fun! Tristan De Gois ...playing football this year, especially being full forward and playing with my mates! Daniel Fidock ...visiting the camp at Forest Edge and collecting a burnt piece of rope: it was like an ancient relic. William Hall ...Trinity winning the State championships for school football: it was such a great achievement! Luca Iovene ...defeating Mr Hayes in our tennis match. He really couldn’t compete with my ‘Grand Slam’ talent! Brendan Jayaprakash ...kayaking for the first time with my friend, Xander. Also soaring high on the flying fox! Cohen Johnson ...making an awesome Genius Project with my friends Liam and Ted. Domenic Lamattina ...playing in the ‘A’ basketball and soccer teams and winning the championship in soccer. Hamish Lambert ...when Cohen, Joel and I watched the movie Cool Runnings at Camp Kelly under the stars: it was magical! Xander Macdonald ...going on camp! It was brilliant exploring something new with my mates. James Mackenzie ...when Ted and I played the violin at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival and receiving an Honourable Mention. Lennox McGrath ...scoring the winning goal in the soccer championship and getting awarded MVP. Luca Morelli ...being a member of the ‘A’ Trinity soccer team was a great honour, especially winning the State championships. Dalvin Paki ...going on camp in Dwellingup and having my dad there was really special. Joshua Reale ...going on camp in Dwellingup and watching the Genius Hour projects: - everyone was so creative! Jordan Rodrigues ...our Genius Hour projects. We dressed up and shared our research on Mario Brothers! Ted Smith ...going on camp and riding on the kayaks. Luckily I narrowly escaped the rapids! Theodore Stynman ...representing Trinity in ‘A’ football and tennis. I also loved going on camp! Benjamin Tilyard ...going on camp and hearing my classmates screaming when they went on the flying fox, instead of listening to my sister screaming at home! Harrison Watkins ...presenting my Genius Project on scooters to my classmates. I even rode my scooter in the undercover area. It was fun!
