Junior School Soccer This season, the TC soccer boys played amazingly well against the other PSA schools. Mr Thompson, coach of the ‘A’ soccer team, entered his team into the Stan Lazaridis Pro Football Training Championship competition for the second time. The first time, the boys won it confidently with a 5-1 win in the final and the boys were hoping to win it again as no school has ever won it three times in a row. The ‘A’s played well, showing great sportsmanship and winning the final 1-0 which was a great effort from all the boys. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasn’t for some great people, so I would like to thank Miss Kenny, Mrs Broomham and Mr Lamborn who were incredible coaches of the soccer teams this year. Without them, the boys in the Junior School would not be playing soccer. All boys played extremely well and displayed great sportsmanship on and off the field, winning or losing. Finally, I thank Mr Thompson for organising and coordinating the whole process. Hopefully, next year, Trinity College can be the first ever proud winner of the three-in-a-row winning streak!
